AC Shadows Reveals Surprising Attack on Titan Event for Holiday Season

In a surprising partnership that defies conventional forecasts, the game developer has revealed an virtual crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising holiday event runs from November 25 through December 22, providing free extra story content for Shadows players.

Strange Questline Revealed

According to the authorized release, "A mysterious meeting pulls protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh adventure, where whispers of forbidden rituals and terrifying transformations echo through the darkness." The narrative presents a "strangely dressed woman named Ada" who tasks the duo with venturing into the Crystalline Cavern—a key location from Attack on Titan—to save her companion from a clandestine cult.

The mission concentrates on "strange tests and a monstrous adversary" and is accessible to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

Iconic Places and Metamorphoses

The teaser features the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This important location was earlier where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The teaser finishes with a powerful scene showing a character, presumably the captive, transforming into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.

Exclusive Rewards and Extra Features

Players who finish the quest will acquire an unique katana in addition to numerous objects secreted throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also features purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, including:
